The intricate craftsmanship and culture of our nation have been passed down through the centuries, constantly refined and renewed.
These cultural skills and spirit that have been carefully preserved and handed down through generations of Japanese tradition are now at risk of fading away.
We believe that the skills and spirit our ancestors cultivated are the true foundation of our national strength.
We must pass these on to the young people who will shape the future of our country.
Before the remaining few artisans disappear, we, as adults, must first reflect on and rediscover our own culture.
Let us rebuild our nation once more with our own hands—again.
